وتم التحفظ على عدد 2 ترسة بحرية المعروفة بالسلاحف البحرية معروضة داخل المحل، وتبين أنه كان يذبحها لتقديمها للمواطنين بالمخالفة للمادة (28) من قانون البيئة رقم 4 لسنة 1994، والمعدل بالقانون رقم 9 لسنة 2009، الذي يحظر صيد أو ذبح السلحفاة البحرية، وأنها من الأنواع النادرة وتتغذي علي الطحالب وقناديل البحر.
وتم التحفظ علي صاحب المحل بمديرية أمن الدقهلية لحين عرضه علي النيابة العامة التي قررت إطلاق السلاحف في بيئتها البحرية، حيث قام فرع جهاز البيئة بالمشاركة مع مباحث التموين بإطلاقها في البحر الأبيض بمنطقة جمصة.
