"بوابة الأهرام" حصلت على صورة ضوئية من عقد اللاعب، مُوقّعة من اللاعب وإدارة النادى المصرى، توضح إمكانية رحيل اللاعب بعد نهاية موسم 2011\2012 بعد دفع مليون ونصف مليون جنيه للنادى المصرى.
وكان اللاعب قد أكد على أحقية رحيله بنهاية هذا الموسم، بعد دفع مليون ونصف مليون جنيه للنادى المصرى، بينما اشترط المصرى الحصول على 5 مليون ونصف مليون جنيه للاستغناء عن اللاعب للأهلى، واستنكرت إدارة المصرى مفاوضات الأهلى مع اللاعب، وهددت باللجوء للـ"فيفا" لو وقّع اللاعب للأهلى بعيدا عن رغبة المصرى.
