يمكن ان ترى مجموعة مكونة من اكثر من 100 صورة لم تنشر من قبل لمارلين مونرو لاول مرة في كتاب جديد يحمل عنوان "مارلين: اغسطس 1953 Marilyn: August 1953".
ويتمير الكتاب الذي نشرته الاسبوع الماضي كالا ايديشنز بصور ابيض واسود تم تجديدها رقميا التقطت خلال صيف 1953 لمارلين التي كانت تبلغ من العمر 27 عاما انذاك.
والتقط الصور جون فاشون خلال قيامه بمهمة لصالح مجلة لوك LOOK في البرتا بكندا عندما كانت مونرو تصور فيلم "نهر بلاعودة River of No Return" مع روبرت ميتشوم.
ومنعت اصابة في الكاحل مونرو من التصوير مما سمح لفاشون بعدة ايام لالتقاط صور لمعبودة هوليوود. وتم نشر ثلاثة صور فقط من الجلسات في قصة مجلة لوك التي نشرت في عدد اكتوبر 1953.
وسيبرز الكتاب صورا لمونرو التي تزوجت فيما بعد اسطورة البيسبول جو ديماجيو وهما يتعانقان. ويعتقد ان فاشون هو المصور الوحيد الذي وقف امامه الزوجان رسميا.
وفي صور اخرى تقف مونرو بنظرة خوف مضحكة في قبضة دب محنط.
ووضعت الصور التي التقطها فوش لمونرو في ارشيف يضم خمسة ملايين صورة فوتوغرافية تم التبرع به لمكتبة الكونجرس بعدما توقف اصدار لوك في 1971.
